Here's what happened to MediaCore CE since my last report:
http://mediacorecommunity.org/community/topic/mediacore-development-report-march-2012

Bug fixes:
- MediaCore Security Issue (the first as far as I know): Preventing an SQL
injection by upgrading SQLAlchemy. Please upgrade your installs.

http://mediacorecommunity.org/community/topic/mediacore-ce-security-advisory-possible-sql-injection

- Finally I managed to fix a bug that submit buttons were displayed without
text after a validation error in the admin pages.

Completed Tasks:
- Updated FlowPlayer to the latest release version (3.2.10)
- Updated JW Player to the latest release version (5.9.2156) - needs testing
on IE:

Future Plans/Thoughts:
- I'll have a look if we can use ijnalepa's suggestion to improve thumbnail
quality

http://mediacorecommunity.org/community/topic/how-to-improve-your-thumbnail-quality
- User infrastructure/private videos feature was deployed for a customer.
I'm polishing some features right now. Currently I talk to a few other
customers about some add-ons. Afterwards the code will flow into github
and I'll publish a new major release.
- Facebook Integration Update: The current MediaCore API for Facebook
comments is deprecated and will stop working in June. I'll update the
integration and possibly add a bit tighter MediaCore integration.
http://mediacorecommunity.org/community/topic/facebook-comments-fbml-update
- I now have a VM for the new demo instance. The main thing holding this back
is that I have to find time to restrict admin access.
- Screencasts for MediaCore install in progress, I need to redo/cut some
parts.
- Email notification for the forum - waiting for a response from SimpleStation

Thanks Felix for this report. It's great to have a monthly view of the new features/developments.

Regards,

Quentin
