This isn't a question but I wanted to announce a lecture by a visiting artist Scott Billings.  The lecture is tonight at 5:30 in Room ED 210.

Bio:

Scott Billings is a Canadian intermedia artist whose practice deals primarily with movement as both medium and concept. Often employing figures of animals and his own body as the subject of the work,he makes both videos and moving objects which have been described as existing somewhere between cinema and automata. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and received his MFA in 2009 from the University of British Columbia. Billings has exhibited widely in Canada and internationally, including Gallery Skolska in Prague, Czech Republic and Organ Gallery in Chongquing,China. In 2010 he received a video creation grant from the Canada Council on the Arts.
