Hello All,
I have been using the numerical phantom code, and I have a few questions.
1. What is the assumed field strength for this simulation? The CF looks to be 1e6 hz, but that appears to be an abnormal frequency for traditional clinical scanners of 1, 1.5 or 3 T in proton MRI.
2. The multiplication of the dipole kernel and the susceptibility distribution, after taking the inverse transform, looks to be treated as the frequency in rad/s. I was under the assumption that this value is equal to DeltaB/B0.
3. Why is the delta_TE set to 1/(2*pi)? That corresponds to a TE of 160 ms. Why was this value chosen if the iField data is a single echo? I don't understand why this value is needed to determine the correct susceptibility.
I have attempted to modify the code for the field strength I use (9.4T), but I do not understand how to set the delta_TE.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Matt
