Problem with Read_Siemens_DICOM

Dear MEDI-users,

I have used the MEDI toolbox for many years on Philips data without any problems. Now, I would like to use data from Siemens. However, I have problems reading data using Read_Siemens_DICOM. I downloaded the latest version of MEDI and I run MATLAB 2019b. Running Read_Siemens_DICOM, I get the message that 'dicomattrs' is an undefined function. I can’t find dicomattrs either in the MEDI-toolbox or in any of the MATLAB-toolboxes. Anyone who had the same problem or any ideas of how to solve this?

Are you still stuck on this issue? If so, try using "Read_DICOM" instead of "Read_Siemens_DICOM." This will call another function, "create_dicomattrs," that creates "dicomattrs" for you. It will also run "Read_Siemens_DICOM," as long as the manufacturer is listed in either your dicom data or hardcoded as an input in the function.
