This Sunday we will be collecting food for the Neighborhood Centers Flash grocery store.
Interested in helping? Here is how:
Food-
1) Fresh green beans – the center is trying to provide healthier food choices and our church was asked to provide green beans. They will be giving food out to 500 families let see if we can provide some beans for all of them.
2) Turkeys – the center needs 500 turkeys they are 300 short currently. Let’s see if our church can provide 50 turkeys this year. We will purchase turkeys with the donated money so if you don’t have time to shop, give a donation.
3) Any other items on the list given out at church and on the website will be appreciated.
Help-
1) We will be sorting; boxing and loading the truck on Sunday after the 9:30 service. Meet us outside in the parking lot if you are willing to help. This is a great way for your family to work together to help others.
At 1:30 we will be carpooling to Camden behind the truck to unload the boxes at the Neighborhood Center. The more able-body people, the faster and easier the job will be. Please email Janet Scheffler (schef...@comcast.net) or let her know Sunday morning if you would be able to go to Camden.
