Gabriel,

I just checked and I'm able to connect to the VPN without issue.
Your log doesn't really point to the cause of the issue.

Can you ping vpn.medeolinx.com?

Hi IT Team,

I am trying to VPN into the office and using remote access and I am unable to. I look at the log and I see that it says that the “initialization sequence was completed with errors”. Also, when I go to www.ipchicken.com it says that my IP ends in 121 (Comcast) which I believe is my home provider. Could you please let me know what I should do to fix?

I have attached our log below:

Gabriel,

When you have a few minutes, I can try to get into your system via remote control and see if I can figure out why its not working.

Download one of these clients:
For Windows --> http://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS_en.exe
For Mac --> http://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.dmg

They don't install but just run so I can gain access.  When the software runs, it will give you a partner ID and password.  Email me both of those and I'll be able to get on to your computer.

Hi Scott,

I think I was able to pin vpn.medeolinx.com

Ping statistics for 207.250.181.209+:

      Packets: Sent =4, Received = 4, Lost = 0

I used VPN while in the office about 2 days ago, so I am not sure what happened. Also, when I tried to connect remotely I use the name “wc1” and “wc2” and not the “brca1” and “brca2” (which Shaw is using).

Thank you

Gabriel

Hi Scott,

Thank you for helping me today. I reinstalled the VPN software and now I am able to access the office computers remotely. I am still planning on installing Windows 7 on my computer so that this problem is avoided in the future.

Thank you

Gabriel
