urgent and critical error

Hi Himalaya,

 

I am experiencing a major error that requires your immediate attention!

 

 

In an attempt to temporarily restore “Edison” windows drive dns issues for the team, I went to the https://nas1/ web site and change the device name from nas1 to Edison.

 

What now seems to have happened is that my jchen admin log on no longer works, and the network shows two systems, one called nas1 and the other called Edison, neither of which accepts logon.

 

This seems to be quite catastrophic if we cannot restore access.

 

Is it possible to simply change the aliases and call them directly Edison and Gilbert for future?
