Warm Welcome to new faculty,
An informal meeting was arranged with the new faculty participants on
27th April 2010 in the board room of MEU with the following aims:
1. To explore their readiness for the course and their consent. The
course is, however, mandatory and will spread for a period of 16
weeks.
2. To apprise them of guidelines for effective utilization of this
Basic Medical Education Technology workshop this will also help in
their professional development.
3. To find out availability of participants during summer vacation.
Sessions will be held if at least 80% faculty is present. At the most
one faculty will be missing 2 sessions during their 15 days vacation.
The guidelines were read to the participants by Dr Kuldeep and were
agreed by the participants.
In response to query by Dr O P Lekhra regarding this being a specialty
workshop, Dr (Mrs) Bose clarified that it is only a Basic Medical
Education Technology workshop which is mandatory for all faculty of
the Institute and other special workshop will be conducted separately
as per decision by the management.
Some general questions were put by Dr Maru and Dr Lekhra was answered
by Dr (Mrs) S Bose and Dr Kuldeep.
Participants had provided their email to the convener and will be
receiving updates. They can also participate in the discussions.
NB: Participants of last batch who have missed some session can attend
those with present batch. They have to keep checking their emails and
also contact fellow participants. It will not be possible to issue
individual invitation.
For any query, message can be posted.

Dear Dr Kuldeep
Happy to read about the activities of MEU. I am glad to read the efforts put forth by the MEU. Is there any scope for the 'Ex faculty' to attend the meeting? If I am there at Indore at any aoccasion I will like to the attend the meeting (if it happens to be in the same period).
I will be further happy if you communicate me the new topic included in the training programme.
Please convey my regards to all faculty members and wishes to all th epartiicipants.
May awareness about ME technology penetrate heart of every medical teacher.

involvement with us. It will be a matter of pride to have you as a
resource person and provide us with the wealth of knowledge you have.
You are always welcome to attend meeting whenever you are here. We
will let you know the details of topics. In fact they are essentially
same. But we are planning for new modules on Computer Assisted
learning, Research Methodology, Teaching aids, Problem based Learning
and Teaching Scholarship and Portfolio apart from basic medical
education Technology workshop. Your comments and suggestions will be
highly appreciated.

Hi Dr. Kuldeep
We really enjoyed today's session.
Can you provide your contact number in case we need to inform you about something.
I also want to know the topic of session which is going to held on 1st June b'cause for next 2 sessions I will not able to attend the session as I already informed you.
