Something to speed up development

Hello Everyone,

I've been investigating this software most of the last two days and I
think it might help the effort - especially by opening up the
development effort to those who might not be knowledgeable on platform
specific program (iPhone, Android, etc).

www.appcelerator.com creates an open source tool that allows you to
create native applications for the iPhone, Desktop, and Android
without having to know the traditional technologies. That's because
their solution allows you to create what amounts to a web app, using
your existing web skills (javascript, CSS, HTML, etc) to create your
software. The final results looks and functions like a native one,
can do on device storage via a built in SQL-Lite database, and can
access just about every native function on the device (accelerometer,
orientation, media, etc).

I've already started working on a patient registry system (for another
project) and it's proving to be incredibly easy.
