Hi,

Am I able to promote the Muncie triathlon instead of the Dayton outdoor since it has been canceled?

Muncie isn't part of our conference schedule, I don't think it was ever proposed

Hi,

I know it was submitted. But with Dayton being canceled our club was looking for a race to take its place. I received a great discount code to make the price more available for college members. If I cannot share the race, I understand.

University of Michigan would be ok with that if Purdue stays as conference champs, not sure if there's any rules about this though. Do you know Nico?

I did not plan to recommend it as the conference championship. Uc is looking forward to racing Purdue as the conference championship.

I personally like the idea of this since otherwise Purdue and Tri the Illini would be the only outdoor races counting for points in the fall. I believe this is what Nico meant but I could be wrong. Regardless, Michigan doesn't have any issues with Muncie counting for points

Ohio State would like to see Muncie as part of the conference schedule and count for points. It is difficult to get new members involved for us with only two more races that are 3.5 hours and 4.5 hours away.

Typically it's been the olympic, but we'd be ok if the sprint counts since it's a week before conference champs. Not sure if Nico had thoughts on this, or if any other teams have started to register for the Olympic already

It was the Olympic in the past because that was what was voted on. Can really be whatever the people want to vote on.

@nico can you ask the organizers to add a collegiate division for registration? There is not one and $100 for a sprint is a lot.

We should also double check that nobody has already registered before we switch to a sprint

Speaking of points, is there a new spreadsheet that keeps track of the points?  Also, is there a new spreadsheet for the MECTC rosters, or should we just update the roster on last year's list?

Yeah definitely counts for qualifying for nats if it's counting for points. Not sure about a spreadsheet. Think it's safe to say mectc race is sprint at Muncie then
