Subject: Info of the Week : Option to delete Unwanted Mails

PFB the option in outlook to delete the unwanted mails when it come to your mailbox.

 

Microsoft Outlook 2010 users

 

Copy the Subject line of the mail you want to delete

 

Go to File-> Manage Rules & Alerts

 

Click “New Rule”

 

Click “Apply rule on message I receive” click “Next”

 

Enable “ with specific words in the subject” and click on “Specific words” shown in the step 2 of Rule wizard.

 

Paste the copied subject line of the mail you want to delete and click “ok”.

 

Click “Next”

 

Click “Delete it” (Thru this option the mail will be deleted from your mail box and will be in your deleted item) or “permanently delete it” (Thru this option the mail will be permanently deleted from your mail box)

 

Click “Finish”.

Click Step 1 : “Delete a Conversation” click “Next”

 

Select “with specific words in the subject” and click on “Specific words” shown in the step 2 of Rule wizard.

 

Paste the copied subject line of the mail you want to delete and click “Add” -> “ok”.

 

Click “Next”

 

Click “Delete it” (Thru this option the mail will be deleted from your mail box and will be in your deleted item) or “permanently delete it” (Thru this option the mail will be permanently deleted from your mail box)

 

Click “Next” -> “Finish” -> “Apply”.
