Downhole Products is an oil and gas British based company with headquarter in Aberdeen, Scotland and offices in the USA, Middle East and Asia. In line with our business growth in Malaysia, we are looking for the right candidate to join our sales team in Kuala Lumpur.

Application Engineer
Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

Provide technical advice and solutions to respective clients in drilling & well completions with regards to the company’s equipment.
Prepare the torque and drag simulation study and able to discuss with end clients on the simulation results.
Assist the Country Manager in achieving the financial target.
Prepare the technical content for bidding, tender and quotation submissions.
Work closely with clients in supporting their daily operations and capable in identifying potential business opportunities.
Managing new projects secured by the company from ordering of equipment to delivery of equipment, in line with the requirement of the clients.
Managing local inventories by forecasting the future requirements to ensure smooth delivery of equipment.
Provide on-site support to clients if required.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
Candidate with 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred but fresh entry may be considered.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
Excellent written and communication, both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Fast learner, results oriented and independent. Able to adapt in any working environment.
Possess customer service skills and have a positive attitude in meeting clients on regular basis.
