Shipping Industry:
Over 94% of world trade is carried by the global shipping industry. Without shipping the import and export of goods on the scale necessary for the modern world would not be possible. There are around 50,000 merchant ships trading internationally, transporting every kind of cargo. The world fleet is registered in over 150 nations, and manned by over a million seafarers of every nationality.
About Us:
With an immense pleasure we would like to introduce West Line Ship Management Pvt Ltd as a shipping “Crew Manning” Company which manages over more than 67 ships which consist of Indian Coastal and Foreign going ships like Tanker vessel, Container Vessel, General Cargo Vessels etc.
Our Requirements:
Total No of Ships Managed By West-Line = 67
Each Ship At least requires = 4 Trainee Seaman “Engineering & Navigation” (As per IMO Regulations)
Total Requirement of West-Line per Annum = 260 Trainee Seaman “Engineering & Navigation”
We Recruit:
We are in a Very Good position to recruit below motioned Qualitative Engineering students from different Region’s of India to fulfill our requirement.
Mainly there are 3 Technical departments to work On-Board Ship
1. B.E / B.Tech:- Mechanical and Automobile to work in Engine Department of our Managed Ships.
2. B.E / B.Tech:- Electrical / E.C / I.C / E.E to work in Electrical Department of our Managed Ships.
3. B.E / B.Tech:- C.S / I.T / Civil to work in Navigation Department of our Managed ships.
Maritime Training:
As per the Rules & Regulations of Directorate General of Shipping “Government of India”, if anyone who wants to make a career in Merchant Navy has to undergo for the mandatory “Pre-Sea training” given by D.G Shipping and On-Board Training in a Merchant ship. There is No another Way to Join Shipping Sector without Taking this Trainings.
Phase I:
Pre-Sea Training: Fully residential training provided in one of the shipping college approved by D.G Shipping Government of India which includes lodging, Boarding, Transportation etc. D.G Shipping Approved colleges do charge a certain amount for providing the Pre-Sea training. But the total amount of this Pre-Sea training will be paid to the shipping college by the Education Loan system on behalf of the student. Student does not have to invest anything to get trained.
Phase II:
On-Board Training: After Completion of the Pre-Sea Training, the trained student will be joining one of our managed vessels to complete his On-board ship training in which he will be getting the stipend of approximately Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 depending upon the type and the trading area of that particular ship. The Re-Payment of the education loan which the student has taken for his Phase I Training could be paid by the student from the amount of stipend which he receives in Phase II Training.
The next position:
Now the Trained student will be joining 1 of our managed vessel as an officer level rank with the minimum salary of Rs 1, 50,000 per Month which can grow up to Rs. 9,00,000 per month which is mentioned in the career progression.
This is not only the training Program. This is an assured employment given by us to the students who will be getting the final appointment letter on Rs 100 Stamp paper.
