Department Awards, Photo shoot Session & Valedictory Function

Greetings from Mechanical Department Council,
This year Council aims at preserving the Memories of the 4th year Students (B.Tech and DDs) and 2nd year PG Students (M.Tech+M.Sc) through Department Awards, Photo shoot Session & Valedictory Function.
1) Department Photo Shoot Session ( only for 4th year Students (B.Tech and DDs) and 2nd year PG Students (M.Tech+M.Sc) )
Details: Tuesday (14th April ) at 5 PM in OAT
Dress Code: Formal
Optional: You can also apply for your batch photo in a A4 size Wooden Frame. Cost - 250 rupees per piece. Submit the money to your respective batch CR`s after the photoshoot.
Deadline for submitting money: 12 pm, 15th April 2015 (Wednesday Midnight)
2) Department awards 2014
Nominations are invited for the Department awards 2014. These awards will be distributed during the Department Valedictory Function. The categories of these awards are as follows:
UG Awards-
1) Overall Outstanding Student- Graduating junta only
2) Academically Outstanding Student- Graduating junta only
3) Organizational Roll of Honour (ROH) and Citation - Graduating junta only
4) Technical Roll of Honour (ROH) and Citation - Graduating junta only
5) UG Research Award- Anyone can apply
6) Organizational Color and Special Mention- Anyone can apply
7) Technical Color and Special Mention- Anyone can apply
PG Awards-
1) Overall Outstanding Student- Graduating junta only
2) Academically Outstanding Student- Graduating junta only
3) Organizational Roll of Honour (ROH) and Citation - Graduating junta only
4)Technical Roll of Honour (ROH) and Citation - Graduating junta only
5) PG Research Award- Anyone can apply
6) Organizational Color and Special Mention- Anyone can apply
7) Cultural Color and Special Mention- Anyone can apply
8) Sports Color and Special Mention- Anyone can apply
9) Technical Color and Special Mention- Anyone can apply
If a student applies for ROH and does not get it then by default he/she will
be eligible for Citation (Same with Colour and Special Mention).
Please send your nomination in the form of a mail with subject "Nomination for Mechanical Department Awards 2015", containing your name, roll number, award you are applying for and a pdf file, not more than one page, enlisting your contributions towards the department. The mail should be addressed to amitkoh...@gmail.com (for UG) and richus...@gmail.com (for PG)
The deadline for sending in your nominations is 12 pm, 19th April 2015 (Sunday Midnight)
3) Department Valedictory Function
We are trying to make this Valedictory function an unforgettable experience for our seniors. Anyone who is interested to perform a dance, sing a song or an impromptu act (solo or group) can send their nomination in the form of a mail with subject "Nomination for Performance on Valedictory Function 2015", containing your name, roll number, performance type and details. The mail should be addressed to amitkoh...@gmail.com (for UG) and richus...@gmail.com (for PG)
The deadline for sending in your nominations is 12 pm, 14th April 2015 (Tuesday Midnight)
Audition will be conducted on 8pm, 15th April 2015 (Wednesday)
Venue - Mechanical Department Student Lounge
Note: Valedictory Function is on 30th April, 7pm to 9pm at PC Saxena Auditorium.
