I am writing to you all on behalf of Citizens for Public Leadership (CPL), a non-profit dedicated to training young professionals for a career in public policy through our flagship CPL Fellowship Program.
What is the CPL Fellowship?
The Citizens for Public Leadership (CPL Fellowship), launched in 2017, was designed as a one-of-its-kind platform for young, future leaders to engage in meaningful and comprehensive discussions with policy-makers and influencers. The fellowship is part-time and the lectures are delivered through WebEx on the weekends
In its first year itself, CPL Fellowship received over 300 applications and it was offered to 21 talented individuals and in the second year, we offered the Fellowship to 30 people from diverse sectors.
Over a period of 12 months, these Fellows interacted with internationally recognized domain experts like Steve Jarding, Nidhi Razdan, Sadanand Dhume, Milan Vaishnav, Karuna Nundy, Rathin Roy, Yamini Aiyar, Salman Soz.
Five of our Fellows went on to get admissions into leading Policy schools such as Harvard Kennedy School, Columbia SIPA etc. and rated CPL as their guiding force in both mentoring and skill development.
Glimpses on what can be expected from CPL 3.0
CPL is now back with its third edition, bolder and more ambitious. As a CPL Fellow, you will:
· Be exposed to critical appreciation of public policy subjects
· Engage in discussions with policy-makers, thinkers and influencers of our times
· Implement the knowledge gained in hands-on projects and assignments
· Hone your skills in specially curated Workshops
Message from our Founder
“My journey at the Harvard Kennedy School allowed me to understand the complexities that lie at the intersection of Policy, Politics and People. The interplay of these 3 Ps decides the fate of any country and hence I felt the need to start a movement to educate young leaders on how to operate successfully at this intersection. If you have a keen interest in these areas and want to get trained by the industry leaders, then please do apply.”
