TIDE (Together in development and education) is an education reforms organization. We are a team of 150 members and over the past year we have worked with 2000 children in 5 urban slums, 3 villages, 2 remand homes, 2 orphanages, 5 govt and private schools and 3 colleges.
We would be grateful if you could help us better the education system. We are fundraising for a couple of new program including an education enhancement program. The program involves putting experienced teachers in a under resourced school for a year to help with teacher training and school administration. We are also looking at starting daily tuition classes for under privileged children, a research magazine for high school students and a question bank for professors.
We would appreciate if you or someone you know will be genuinely interested in helping us with the same. We are setting up a system for monthly (recurring) donations and small amounts are also welcome. For amounts greater than 1000 Rs / 20 $ the money could be directly bank transferred to an Indian, UK or US based account depending on your location.
