Hola!

I wished to share a brief message about an initiative I'm associated with. If it interests yourself or anyone in your circles, please do share.

I cofounded an NGO Together in Development & Education (TIDE foundation) based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in November 2014.

TIDE has grown into a family of currently 75+ volunteers and five trustees, who work across six projects for students and youth belonging to orphanages, rural and municipality schools, private schools, technical and pure sciences universities and for children with special needs, as of now based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It's been an exhilarating journey to watch amazing people join hands, devote as much time and effort as possible and create positive impact.

We are launching International Internship program for students from India and outside, to contribute and learn by working at TIDE this summer 2015. I would like to share a brief message regarding same and request you to if possible participate yourself or share it with anyone who might be interested.


TIDE INTERNSHIP

TIDE Foundation is determined to provide platform for all of us who wish to contribute and give back to society by starting its Internship program. There are various internship positions open requiring different skill-set. Individuals participating in our internship will get first hand experience of planning and conducting workshops, interacting with the people affected by these projects and exposure to social work. Also, you will be able to work with our members and be in constant contact with various authorities.
Internship will last around 1-2 months
Initial applications end April 23rd 2015

ABOUT TIDE FOUNDATION

TIDE is a, start-up (founded in November 2014), education reforms organization that aims to bring about sustainable change in the educational system. As of now, we have 6 projects and all of them work with different aspects of education and different target audiences. All of these projects try and follow a similar guideline i.e. work on high impact projects, with the aim to resolve the root cause / create a system that resolves the root cause.
