Kongu Engineering College, one of the foremost multi professional research-led Institutions is internationally a recognized leader in professional and career-oriented education. In the last year NIRF Ranking, KEC bagged First Rank among all Self-financing Colleges in Tamilnadu, Third Rank among all Self-financing Colleges in India and 46th Rank among all Engineering Institutions including IITs, NITs, etc., in India .
For the current year, Government of India has launched National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2017) to rank Engineering Institutions in India. In this regard, we request you to click the Perception survey for India's national ranking. Your perception about Kongu Engineering College as a top class institution will help us.
The step by step procedure is given as follows:
• Go to the URL, https://www.nirfindia.org/perception and register with a valid e-mail id
• Open the link that will be sent to your e-mail id
• The first tab is PERSONAL INFORMATION which you can fill. Below this, there is a section called INTEREST. Here you need to make a selection as STUDENT, PARENT/GUARDIAN, FACULTY MEMBER, ALUMNI, ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATOR, NGO, FUNDING AGENCY, SOCIAL WORKER, HR HEAD, OTHER.
• Once you make the selection as RESEARCH (%), TEACHING (%), ADMINISTRATION (%), OTHERS (%), you will need to mention the PERCENTAGE OF YOUR TIME as per your job responsibility
• The second tab is Top Institutions Nationally, which is the most IMPORTANT section for us. Here in the second section select ENGINEERING and select KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE from the drop-down menu. In the fourth section under General Degree Colleges & Departments of Universities/Institutions of Arts/Science/Humanities/Commerce, please select KONGU ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (ERODE)
• The third tab is Top Institutions Regionally. In the first section, select REGION as South. In the Second Section, select Engineering and KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE from the drop-down menu. In the fourth section under General Degree Colleges & Departments of Universities/Institutions of Arts/Science/Humanities/Commerce, please select KONGU ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (ERODE)
• Click NEXT and complete the process by clicking SAVE AND SUBMIT in the fourth tab
• The whole process will take around a minute
We would highly appreciate, if you could kindly complete the above survey before the last date of February 15th 2017.
