Dear Professor M.K. Sanyal,
Happy New Year 2016 !
Last year was a good one for Infosys. We clocked a smart increase in revenues over the previous financial year. We brought a number of new companies ‒ Panaya, Skava, Kallidus, to name a few ‒ into the Infosys family. We also featured prominently in most major
analyst ratings.
I'm happy to share with you that 2016 has begun on a great note with Infosys being ranked second in
BusinessWorld's
list of the 'Most Respected Companies', close on the heels of Google India.
The survey was conducted by TNS for BusinessWorld magazine, one of India's leading business publications. The survey, which covered 55 of India's top companies from different industries ranging from retail to finance, recognized
Infosys for its quality and depth of top management, people practices and talent management.
You may be aware that we embrace responsibility to create a positive impact in the communities
in which we work and live. The ET Awards jury has lauded the tremendous effort put in by the company and named Infosys Foundation
Corporate Citizen of The Year.
While these accolades undoubtedly make us proud and motivate us to greater heights, there is still a larger picture that we look at ‒ from the spheres of business, our people, and the tech world. For even amidst these achievements, our focus remains on getting
a bit better, ongoing that extra mile, on bringing that next idea that can make a real difference to life.
Infosys has always been known for its values and founding principles, so it is no surprise that we have featured in this list. This accolade will only cement our belief in ourselves even more.
So as we head into another year, I would like to thank you for your continued support in our journey in 2015 and I look forward to a very fruitful partnership with you this year and beyond.
Warm Regards,
Varadharaj V (Vardha)
