Bode Plot optimizatin of the 24005 CBN machine.

Dear MGT Mechtronic team:

We are trying to optimize the response of the 24005 CBN machine.

We are facing a lot of peaks and valleys in the gain and phase plots. We tried loop gain, velocity gain and other filters to make the plot smooth and kink free.The idea is to make the response smooth.

My question to the group is :

1) How to attribute the peak and valleys to the various items: for example in this case we have roller guide ways, Linear scale feedback , and Fanuc servo motor.and weight of the slide

2) How to make the transfer function of all the items to make the analysis and link with the peak and valleys  in the gain and phase plot.
