About the speaker-
An M.Tech.( Master of Technology ,1974) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Kamlesh Pande was Vice President (R&D and Innovation) with Thermax Ltd., Pune, Head of Technology Management with Mahindra & Mahindra and Chief (R&D) with Forbes Marshall ,Pune. Prior to that, he was with Tata Consulting Engineers, Corporate R&D of BHEL and Tata Energy
Research Institute .
For five years he was the Visiting & Adjunct Professor at SJM School of Management, IIT Bombay, where he taught Innovation Mgmt, Knowledge Mgmt. and R&D Mgmt. Currently, as a visiting faculty at School of Management ( IIT B) , he delivers lectures in Management Development Programs ( MDPs) for industry managers .
He is the Founder of the recently-formed set-up MAITRI ( Making Academia Innovative and Technically Relevant to Industry) that strives to make Higher Technical Education industry-oriented.
