Has anyone been successful in daisy chaining a few Mechaduinos together via i2C. I am working on a project where I have four Mechaduinos, and I need to send different velocity commands to the mechaduinos from another microcontroller. I know you can send serial commands via the USB and I am looking to mimic that via i2C. I am looking for some incite / advice on the subject.
Thanks,
Devin

I know that one person wrote firmware for the smart stepper to do this via I2C.
The smart stepper firmware also allows sending commands via a logic level UART, there are some people using this for controlling boards from other processors.
