A couple of questions regarding producing your own PCB's:

1. From the A4954 datasheet I gather 2oz copper is required. Is this correct?
2. Is the gerber zip file in the git repository up to date? The current file seems to be older than the Eagle files.

Cheers,

We are using 1oz copper, but 2oz may improve thermal performance.
I went ahead and regenerated the gerbers (updated on github).

Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the gerbers: would be nice if you could either update or remove the Mechaduino01_Gerbers.zip file. As it is, there's now a bunch of updated gerbers as well as the outdated zip file in the git repo.

Did you ever end up building your own PCBs?  I'm considering doing so but am trying to determine the cost savings to see if its truly worth it.  I need 4 boards for my hangprinter build.

I did build the PCB but not considered cost savings - i did it as i was testing pick and place and reflow oven.
