MEChA Letter to CSULA Community

On behalf of MEChA de CSULA, I have attached a Letter of Unity to invite all interested
campus organizations and individuals to attend a planning meeting on Tuesday, February 21st at 11:30am
at the Chicana/o Student Resource Center to address and organize against the continuing
war being waged by the CSU Board of Trustees against students in the form of tuition increases, reduction
of classes, cuts to financial aid, etc.
At this point I ask you to please forward to all your contacts (Faculty and Students). This is a challenging time for us all. Only through
a united effort will we be able to ensure that our brothers and sisters of our community will be able
to afford a place at the university level in the future.
I strongly encourage you to join us and lend us your expertise, knowledge and support as we begin to create
political resistance on campus.
