SAY NO TO BUDGET CUTS TO OUR SCHOOLS!!!

 

On Friday, February 14^th 2012 the LAUSD School Board will be voting on cutting vital education programs to our youth and communities. Join us and let the school board hear our united voices as we say hell no to budget cuts!

 

These cuts include:

 

-       100% elimination to Adult Education,

-       100% elimination to Early Childhood Education,

-       100% elimination of Student Readiness Language Development program

-       75% Cut to Elementary Arts teachers

-       Elimination of 50 Teacher Librarians

-       Thousands of School Employee layoffs

-       Additional Pay cuts and Shorten School year

 

Join Union del Barrio, UTLA Central Area, Southern California Immigration Coalition, South Central Neighborhood Council and dozens of other organizations that form part of the South Central LA Contingent of this action.
