M.E.Ch.A (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana-o de Aztlan) will host a protest
· Students protest the Universities lack of support to end the budget cuts.
· Students are paying more as their fees continue to increasing, but are constantly getting less as classes are cancelled, faculty and staff laid off, and graduations are postponed
· Students Struggle with the Failed Leadership of their Campus

WHAT:
Due to the 283% tuition fee increase since 2002, the over 1 billion cuts since 2007 the possibility of obtaining a higher education has diminished for many students. Students are finding it difficult to obtain a degree in four years and are being forced to work overtime and acquire debt. In the meantime, students in the CSU are experiencing class cuts, professor furloughs, and an overall lack in their quality of education. With the lack of classes, Students are being forced to take courses not related to their major to fill financial aid requirements of 12 units. In essence, students are paying more and getting less.

Students will be hold a protest on Tusday March 6, 2012 from 12-2 pm in front of the bookstore
