Scam Alert targeting IIT Graduates

Hope you are doing well! 

Just wanted to share this information with you that some scammers have been specifically targeting IIT graduates. They approach the individuals stating its a medical emergency -and they won’t be able to take calls too, but require a huge sum of money (usually 2/3L). To make the story convincing I think they are performing some research online and using names of common friends. 

This particular thing has happened across IITs and I believe sending email might be able to alert most folks within these groups. (Apologies for spamming the groups) 

They have been using the following numbers - 7311128577, 9655723827, 8881969652 for the last few days. If possible, please share it with your other relevant groups to ensure none of your friends are duped. Hope this helps!
