As you would know, the IIT Delhi started functioning on August 16, 1961 with the arrival on campus of the first batch of students. Accordingly, the Institute will now be entering its 50th year. You will be glad to know that the Inaugural Function of the Golden Jubilee Year will be held at 11:45 am on August 16, 2010. The Hon'ble President of India has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. This will be followed by more activities in the afternoon and evening. The detailed programme would be available shortly. IIT Delhi Alumni Association
You are invited to join us in the celebrations. We will appreciate if you would confirm your participation at the earliest, definitely before July 28, 2010 so that we can send you a formal invitation. You will appreciate that due to high level security requirements the admission to Dogra Hall would be only against a formal invitation, which have to be issued well in advance. The seats available are also very limited. Kindly send your consent to by filling in the form . Please include your postal address. A copy of your mail should also be marked to off...@iitdalumni.com.
