Dear all,

SAEINDIA Western Section will be organizing an “Inter College Project competition” for the final year engineering students of all the SAE Collegiate Club in the Western section. This year the Project Competition will be held at the Mechanical Department of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, 666, Upper Indiranagar, Bibwewadi Pune on 31^st July 2015, as a part of SAE Day celebrations. The competition will be inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Richard Greaves, President, SAE International. The event will start at 09:30 am and is expected to continue till 03:30 pm.

The prize details are as follows:

1st prize Rs.10,000/- +Rolling trophy + certificates to all members of team.

2nd prize Rs.7,000/- + Rolling trophy+ certificates to all members of team.

3rd prize Rs.5,000/- +Rolling trophy+ certificates to all members of team.

Dear Madam/Sir,

As per the prevailing practice, SAEINDIA Western Section will be organizing an “Inter College Project competition” for the final year engineering students of all the SAE Collegiate Club in the Western section. We are pleased to inform you that this year the Project Competition will be held at the Mechanical Department of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, 666, Upper Indiranagar, Bibwewadi Pune on 31^st July 2015, as a part of SAE Day celebrations. We believe that this competition plays an important role in motivating the future engineering graduates to take up more challenging and competitive projects.

The following reference points may kindly be noted:

1) The competition is open for students from colleges having SAE Collegiate Chapters, who will be graduating in the academic year 2015. They will be presenting their final year Projects at the competition.

2) The project should be related to Automotive Engineering.

3) The participants will have to submit a soft copy of the project abstract along with the application latest by 10^th July 2015. Kindly send the entries to one of the contacts mentioned at the bottom of the page.

4) The shortlisted projects will be presented before a panel of judges.

6) Each participating team will be allotted total time duration of 20 minutes for their presentation. The Project may be presented by any member of the team.

7) The prize details are as follows:

8) The registration fees is Rs.100/- per team.

Also please find attached Annual Social Invitation, which will be held on same day at ARAI (The Automotive Research Association of India), S. No. 102, Vetal Hill, Off Paud Road, Kothurd Pune - 411 038, from 17.30 hrs to 20.30 hrs followed by the dinner. Attached is the nomination list format for Annual Social.

We request you to kindly send us the list of participants for both the events separately. We are looking forward to enthusiastic participation of your students. We appreciate your support for publicizing the event by displaying these letters on notice board.
