The Aviva contest in Canada will benefit the new Complex Chronic Disease Clinic in Vancouver,which is to focus
on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia
Syndrome and Lyme disease- "We are competing in the $100,000-$150,000
category. If we win, the winnings will go towards purchasing the
equipment for Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) according to
the Stevens protocol, tilt table for testing for orthostatic
intolerance and training."
