The representative for DMES and CMES in the school of Liberal Arts emailed me to let me know she is presenting suggestions for the MES department to the Dean on this Wed...

Below are some questions you can answer to help give her more useful information for our benefit.. I'm sure you may leave additional comments if you feel the need. Your thoughts and opinions could have an impact on important decisions, so please take 5 min to do this.

Questions (you don't have to answer all of them):

* In your eyes, what is one great thing going on in the department? What is one thing going not so good in the department?

* What MES classes are you taking, are you happy with them?

* Do you feel connected enough to the department ?

* Do you feel aware and up-to-date on all of the opportunities, programs, services that the department offers?

* If you were the advisor for your department, what would you do differently?

* If you had the option of suggesting to your department a new course of your choice to offer, what would would it be? why? do you feel the department doesn't offer enough of a focus on this subject already?

* How many times have you met with your advisor this year, how can they make themselves more accessible?

* How do you feel the curriculum and requirements for your major has helped/hindered you?
