When I started to be an activ member of the RollerCoaster Tycoon community in germany (Rct-World) I build the first Rock 'n' Moviepark, a highly successful park. His successor the Rock 'n' Moviepark was one of the biggest parks at its time and was build with the help of ZeroG (a member at ShyGuysWorld). For my career at rct-world it was a breakthrough and I was a moderator just to the day when the german community started to collapse and only rct-3.org rest still alive. ZeroG and I began an other project, but the Rock 'n' Moviepark is lay to rest. After a while I began to have a new project and started to renovate the old Rock 'n' Moviepark to make it more realistic and bigger than all I have ever done before in this game.
After 2 1/2 years I finally finished this project. The first Rock 'n' Moviepark was my first big project and the reloaded version will be my last one. It was a fun time in which I becamed one of the best Rct3 Players in the german community, before it collapsed. Because I didn't want that the park isn't seen by anyone I chosed TPR to show it to you and now the time is come that you could take a closer look on the park file itself.
Is the rollercoaster Doppelganger not named in the US version? In the german version, it is definately called Doppelganger. Since the names weren't changed from the UK version afaik, I have assumed it would be called the same in the US. --Hadesengel 17:56, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

There are loads of rides to add to your park of many different types (rollercoaster, thrill, gentle, water etc.). There are also 7 different scenery themes (Spooky, Western etc.), which allows for a huge variety of scenery decoration throughout your park.
The sounds can become quite irritating. The screams from rollercoasters don't seem to be as realistic as in RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2.
The Bottom Line
If you've played and liked RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 or 2, then you'll almost definitely like this. It keeps everything that was good about the first 2 games, and enhances the whole experience with a 3D engine, which allows for several great new features such as night time mode. There are very few bad points about the game, and it's packed with tonnes of rides, scenery and features which will keep you occupied for hours and hours.
Hello from germany. - In the last days i rediscovered my old love to the game rollercoaster tycoon 2, but using the arrow keys is getting me down - It would be so nice if there was the possibility to change/remap the arrow keys to the WASD keys on the keyboard. - In my case i have played nearly 400 hours of factorio (I would recommend to check this game if you don't know it already) and there the WASD keys are used for map scrolling. - Now in OpenRCT2 i always default to this keys and it's a horrific feeling to use the arrow keys instead (or scroll with the mouse) - It would be my number 1 feature if it would be possible to play OpenRCT2 also with WASD keys.
