Hi all,

My setup stopped working and seems to have got corrupted but I can still access the data from the SD card. I'm going to start again but can I copy the data from the old SD image to the new one to carry on from where it failed?

If it's possible to know the folders please to copy the data over please that would be really appreciated :)

I just see this post. If it is not too late I know a way to save and import the data in the new image.

It will be a little tricky ;)

Hi Thomas,

That would be great, I would really appreciate it, thankyou.

I accessed the image in WinSCP but wasn't sure what to look for.

The data from the mariadb server is located in

/var/lib/mysql

In theory you can just replace the mysql directory and everithing should be fine.

And also in theorie and not testet currently you can create a backup from the current image (in the admin interface) and reinstall it after replacing the mysql directory.

In real live it could be that your sensor have other ids as in the old installation. Then it get tricky :D

Backup your current directory replace it and see what happend. Take a look at the user / owner settings from the directory ;)

Thanks again Thomas :) I'm hoping to experiment with that and see what happens.

Unusually under Grabber Status on the Setup tab I keep seeing odd messages now:
824 ? Sl 0:12 /usr/bin/python /web/measureit/measureit_system_files/python/data-input.py

827 ? Sl 0:07 /usr/bin/python /web/measureit/measureit_system_files/python/data-input.py

Unsure what I might have broken here?
