MeasureIt with Linky (french power counter)

Hello all,

I used measure-it a while (around 2014-2015) before switching to my own project.

I done it for several reasons :

- measureIt works by using a MySQL database and a script that translate usb serial dataframe (and it does it great), but it is not "distibuted"

- measureit is wrote in php and it was hard to participate to the core code :-/

- at last, i wanted to display my consumption in my TV, and use others devices like remote temperature sensors

Because i'm programmer, i wrote my own software => http://github.com/sylvek/domotik

Several months later, i discovered that CC128 was not sold anymore :(

In France, our electric meters offer a plug to retrieve the consumption in realtime !

Since July, i compare values given by it with my old CC128, and it's working great :)

So, if you want a CC128 alternative, if you are in France, you could use it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is sad that it is not mobile and available in other countries. 

I did not found a replacement for the cc devices so far.

I like your project. This is really nice. The TV status view is cool

Measureit is dead because of the missing hardware. I do not build own hardware :D

It was a good time with measureit. Now are other projects in progress :)
