Position :  ETL Developer IV (Ab Initio)

Location: Reston, VA - 3 days a week onsite. May move to 5

Duration : 6Months+

Visa: H1B, H4EAD, USC

 

Responsible for building ETL jobs primarily out of Ab-Initio. Dealing with large volumes of data on a batch basis needing to be transformed, stored, and rendered. Top three needs:
1. Ab-Initio
2. Data Engineering
3. AWS

Sequel, Red Shirt, Oracle, S3, Lambda, ZMR, etc.
Tech lead - primarily business facing
May need to be on-call for production issues.
Would be nice to have knowledge of Python or Java.
Mid to senior level role with solid experience.
First round screening video interview
Second round in person at Reston.


Job Description:

• Application Developer performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents.
• The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed.
• Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of FNM's internal customers.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Python, SQL, Ab-Initio, AWS Services like S3, Lambda, EMR etc. Good to know J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series

Education/Work Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Professional certification(s) desired 10 plus years software development experience across the appropriate platform
