First get a small projector
anything like this...

Then get some Bristol board

Form the Bristol board into a horizontal half pipe with the open end facing you.
Somehow fix it there and add a stand so that it stays still.

You have to enlarge the frames from a video to twice their height.

Then reduce the frames to normal height be reducing the frames from center to top and center to bottom using software you will need to make yourself.
You do that by increasing the amount you remove as you go up from center the horizon line and do the same from the center down.
The key is to increase the amount you take away so that it matches a curve.

As you do that you make the z axis longer than zero, which it is on a flat screen.
Now when you look you see depth and reality since red and blue shift are preserved in video but wasted when not shown in a curved screen properly mapped.

A flat screen the color originates at the screen. So z =0.

Look in a mirror the color originates on your couch, bounces off the glass and to your eye z length is not zero and that is true 3D a mirror.

Simple. sooo simple. Yet no one in earth understands it. But me apparently.  lol

all for how much at Walmart?
$99.98 delivery tomorrow.
250 inch screen. That's 20 feet dudes.

If I cared I would probably do that. But I don't think I care enough to even do that.
I don't have to prove to myself something I have seen with my own eyes.

I might buy one just because I am too lazy to look for my digital camera that came with a projector.
It isn't all that great giving you a 3 foot wide screen only on a wall. 15 years old now.

Still I might do that.
Just for fun.

So I ordered it and it will be here sometime tomorrow with some Bristol board.

It is not a good projector to say the least it is very cheap but for an experiment it is worth the cost to have some fun.

So some thread in a loop to hold the Bristol board into a half pipe shape. And then get some frames from a video not high res
the screen is like 28 inches wide the Bristol board and the projector 720 P
1280 x 720

Double the height to 1440 then remap them onto 720 to account for the curve and voila.
