It is a word full of gambling addicts and drug addicts who are looking for a quick fix, or an easy win.
They do not have a structured life that leads them to happiness.
They follow Hegel and the Hegelian dialectic and they ride the pendulum from one opposite to the other and know nothing about Aristotle's moderation.
Aristotle defined virtue as the "golden mean"—a, balanced, intermediate, or moderate point between the two extremes of excess and deficiency. This doctrine of the mean guides moral behavior, enabling individuals to control passions and desires, achieve eudaimonia (happiness), and live a well-ordered life by acting appropriately, at the right time, and in the right way.
