Position: New Java requirement 5 openings
 Location:  Dallas, TX.

Position Description:
This position involves the design, development and maintenance of state-of-the-art Java/J2EE based application.  This person will work from specifications to develop or modify complex software programming applications. Duties include designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs. Determine requirements for new system or new features and documentation of modifications and new code procedures.
 
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
 
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of design and construction of large scale integration systems using Java, J2SE, and XML and implementing complex technology in a global and heterogeneous environment.
  
Minimum Job Requirements:
5+ years experience with Java
Perform analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and maintenance for existing or new applications
Solid hands on programming experience required in Java, J2EE and Spring technologies.
Good understanding of design patterns, strong OOA/OOD skills a must.
Understanding of Agile programming methodologies and Test Driven Development highly desired.
Service Oriented Architecture, Webservices, XML experience desired.
Experience with Jmeter or other automated test tools desired.
Experience with Hibernate, Eclipse, Maven
·         Experience with SQL and Oracle
Excellent analysis and problem solving skills desired.
Experience in working with globally distributed teams
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Travel domain knowledge a plus
