Dear Alumni,

Greetings from Manipal!

We are building a database of recent alumni and outgoing students who have cleared competitive exams like CAT, GRE, TOEFL, Civil Services, Armed Forces exams etc. as well as details of admissions to universities for higher education. If you are currently working, kindly provide proof of your current employment (you can hide/blacken your salary and other details, if you wish to keep it confidential).

This data will be used for following purposes:

1. Accreditation: NAAC, NBA and other bodies require the data.

2. Rankings: NIRF, QS World ranking etc.

3. Guide and inspire the current and future batches.

4. Gives the institute a better idea of the aspirations of our students so we can focus our resources on new initiatives which will help the future generations of MITians. It is easier to make the decisions if it is backed up by data.

5. Connect students and alumni (with permission of course). It is comforting to have a friend while moving to a new country.

We request you to share your competitive exam scorecards and offer letter of admission for higher education and/or proof of employment. We require them for the following reasons.

The claim will not be disputed by ranking or accrediting agencies if we have the proof.
Additional details sought by such agencies such as registration number of the exam, name of the course, date of admission, duration, and many other details sought can be extracted from these documents.

So, please do help us with this initiative. Share this in all your batch groups and encourage your classmates to fill the form. In case you find it more convenient, you may also mail the details and documents to me.
