Prof. Davidian and I have agreed to hold a joint class period at 6:10 this evening, Monday the 24th at the lab beside the pool.
Please bring your notebooks and great ideas. Let us try our best to keep the designs as simple as possible and build our models/prototypes by end of this week so that next week can be the final testing, report writing and presentation preparation.

Dear Students,
Per Dr. Landsberger's email, we have decided for both classes to meet
this evening (May 24th) at the PE10 lab (Near the pool) at 6:10pm
where each team will sign up for their weekly team meeting slot
beginning tonight at 6:20pm. Each team will meet with us for no more
than 10 minutes and share your project’s design concepts, materials
list, build status, ask questions, etc.. The entire team must be
present at the meeting. As I have been informed by Dr. Landsberger,
your Kinesiology team members will be there tonight. Please make sure
everybody in the team has everyone’s contact information and when you
meet tonight plan on a work schedule with your Kinesiology
counterparts to have an excellent outcome. Each ME103 team must have
a team leader who will keep contact with the KIN439 team leader.

In addition, our classroom will be open on Monday and Wednesday
evenings (6:10 – 8:00pm), should your team wish to work on SolidWorks
drawings, Final Technical Report, and Final PowerPoint Presentation.
Please make proper use of your time. You should also have access to
the Special Projects Lab (ECST B-15) and as mentioned on an earlier
email, please follow proper laboratory / machine shop safety
guidelines. We will make Dr. Landsberger's lab (PE10) available for
students as well.

We have noticed that a few of the teams have already begun work on
their project and it looks promising. For the ones who are just
beginning, do not worry since there is still time for a successful
outcome, but you must not procrastinate and never give up should a
difficulty in design occur.

See you all at 6:10pm at the PE10 lab (poolside).

Subject: Angela's thoughts on the erg seat

I want the erg seat to have a seat pan or bottom. {Note: right now, the seat has a back but no bottom - folks sit on the existing seat that comes with the Erg Rowing Workout Machine.} Fabric or solid that goes over the existing erg seat and does not put any pressure on the erg seat. The existing erg seat just floats freely beneath our seat. I also need it to be tapered narrower at the top of the seat back to allow the shoulders to roll back without hitting the seat posts.

P.S. From Prof. Landsberger: We can fine tune these comments tonight. It would be best for you to meet with Debra this week and see the Erg Machine and how your adapter seat fits on it.
