Yup, by Chunky's -- that's about 5 min from us. We're on the Springvale side
of town.

It's 35-45 minutes, depending who's driving. I'd say 40 minutes.

I think that's what I miss least about Greater Portland. That same apartment
rents for about $500/month here in Tallahassee.

Yeah, it's a 2BR, though, so sharing the rent?

I think we've got it rented (May 1), but we're still showing it.

Yeah, and we're in Sanford. I just saw an ad for a comparable apartment that
was actually a 1BR in Portland for $850 (heat included). Phew.

We moved here from Houston where it was SO much less expensive to live.

Though we would have died from the toxic air.

may i ask what is the square footage it better be greater than 700 for that
price ... since most of the places in the state are just a ripoff for
tourists anyway a person working a decent job couldn't aford it.. most of
the apartments/ rentals in tourists states are rented for 5 times as much as
they should be...or unless your a stupid college student who has mommy and
daddy pay the price for you.

I forget, but it's definitely over 700. I think it's around 900? Not huge,
that's for sure.

Of the places we looked at when we were looking to buy, our place is in the
best shape in all of Maine (I'm sure that's an exaggeration, but it's not
that far off).

You seem to have a cheery disposition.
