My original scooter- a 2005 Kanji Metro that I had for just one week
has just been recovered. It is in the Baltimore City impound lot right
now. The original owner, whom it was still registered to, got a letter
from Baltimore City saying that either he gets it out of impound in 11
days, or he will be sued for the towing/storage costs. So, we are
going down to the impound lot to talk with those idiots. Will they
charge $$ to us, even with it being stolen?

actually the city screwed up (go figure) they didn't do a search to
find out if it is stolen or not, and they considered it an abandoned
vehicle, therefore the threat to get it out or else.. We are going
down to the lot with the police report and the title, and the owner
will do the talking as to why he didn't get a phone call when it was
retrieved , and it is not an abandoned vehicle, it was stolen. If they
are going to charge some exhorbitant amount of money, he said he will
go to court anyway and argue that it wasn't abandoned like he said and
will have the police report to show otherwise..
