Last Group ride!

The next ride will be again on Wednesday, but I decided to move the
time to 15 min later to 6:45PM.

Hey Folks,

I apologize for the delay in updates to the site, namely the group
ride section. I have been on vacation for the past week and haven't
had access to a computer.

There is some important information on this updated group rides page.
In short, we will now be doing a Sunday ride for the weekend riders.
This was a good suggestion and I personally agree it will attract more
riders.

Hope all has been well with everyone and we can all make it out this
Wednesday!

I stopped by last night, But was running late. I got there about
6:50PM.

The group is very prompt, and left on time (6:45),

Nobody rode last night or,

I went to the wrong place. (Little parking area, Playground, next to
the flight path)

I will make sure that I am there on time next week. Did anyone else
ride? how was it? Where did you go? How long was the ride?

I know that I rode around a bit after I left. It was quite nice out
and just didn't feel like going home at that point..

I wasn't able to make it to the ride. I wish I couldve. I am pretty certain that in last nights case, nobody showed. Its happened to me too, but you made the best of it and still rode. I would like to start having people "rsvp" to the ride dates just so we know what's going on and we're all on the same page.

Remember we ride on Sundays now as well. I unfortunately will be unable to attend but hope you and others can. I believe it is at 2pm.

The weather was beautiful. Maybe they just don't want to ride with

BTW Here is a picture of my little scooter (Verucci Avispa) Its a 49cc that has a newtop end (80cc)

 

and a picture of its big brother (Suzuki Burgman 650 Exec.

Nice scooters you got there Robert!

I know for sure me and a friend will be there. Also another guy, Nate is going to try to make it. Hopefully at least four people at this point.

That Verucci actually looks like a clone of Nate's scooter. (50cc in a 150cc frame). He just put an 80cc kit on his too.

That Burgman is pretty darn sleek looking. I wanna race it with my Vento 50cc, I think it might be able to keep up for a bit.

I am definitely going tomorrow, I take it you are too?

It is with great regret that I will Not be able to come tonight.

 

It was brought to my attention that today is my Birthday (At my age we try to forget these things) and the family is taking me out to dinner tonight.

 

Please let me know how it goes.  I would like to hear where you went, how far you went, and any plans for the next ride.  Will anyone return for Sundays ride?

 

If you ride and decide on another location, please let me know.

Happy birthday! I don't mean to depress you by saying that- its a good thing!

Well its a shame you can't make it but I understand there are more important things in life. I'll let you know how it goes. The way things look now, we'll probably only have about 3 people show.

But I'm still hopeful that more will come out.
