BS laws for 50cc scooters

did anyone know that is illegal to ride on the road if there is a
paved sholder and that it is a $80 ticket for not riding on the
sholder

Required to use a paved shoulder or bike lane if available.
Exceptions : avoiding a hazard or obstruction, preparing to turn. or
one lane streets. I know more about the scooter laws in MD than
probably anyone else and have even worked on getting some changed
within Baltimore city limits.

also , technically your a are too exceed 30 MPH..so say you were
traveling 35 in a 40 zone, you would TECHNICALLY be eligible for a
ticket.

I know the laws, but I have to say- if they issue me a speeding ticket for my scooter, I am going to frame that sucker and put it on my wall.

ok wel i was at fortsmallwood near duval hwy and elizabethland area
the shoulder is only about 2 feet wide there when he pulled me over my
foot was on the white line and the other was in the grass

Take a photo of the location, take it to court, and explain that the
shoulder was unusable and unsafe for you to ride on. Judges can be
reasonable when you are.
