hey guys and gals I thought I'de let you know you ned to be on your toes with the scooter laws in Maryland Esp. Maryland Vehicle Law Section 21-1205.1.

My friend was riding home from work tonight and as he passed the Maryland Waterloo State Police Station on US Rt. 1 he was pulled over by a State Polce Tropper and given a warning ticket for driving his 49.5cc scooter on a road 50mph and under, he politly told the trooper that he understood the law to be that he could ride on any roadway that was 50mph or under, and the trooper said that was incorrect that he could ONLY ride on roads marked 45mph or under, and that he had to leave his bike there or have someone pick him up, he waited for almost 2 hours before getting on his bike and coming home. so everyone Esp. in Maryland needs to get a copy of Maryland Vehicle Laws Section 21-1205.1. and keep it with you on your bike at all times.
