New Website and Forum

Hey folks,

I have noticed a bit more action going on here within the group.
That's great!

I'm sorry that I will not be available to make it on Monday night's
ride but I hope everyone has a good time and is safe. Take pictures
too!

If you can remember last week I mentioned that there will be a
complete revamping of the current website soon. Well, there's been so
much more activity on the message boards here over the past few weeks
that I figured I would give one last announcement regarding the status
of this project and what it entails and ultimately you, as a club
member, have to look forward to.

The new web site and forum will include the following:
-Its own domain name, (this means no more going to
"www.groups.google.com/MDScoo......")
-A gallery page, (with photos of club events, rides, scooters.. all
submitted by you- the members)
-Rides page, (with interactive maps and schedules to advertise all
group rides whether club based or not)
-A way to contact club administrators for help and questions
-Lastly, and probably most valuable, a forum.

The forum will be hosted under the club's domain and will offer a much
easier and more user friendly way of getting in touch with people,
asking questions and even creating polls to gauge interest in up
coming rides.

The site is expected to go live August, 6th by 12:00 noon. As it
develops your support, patience and suggestions are most valuable.
