From the Desk of Priti Kucheria Zone Chair MDRT MCC Zone # 4 South Asia (India, Srilanka, Nepal & Bangladesh) (2013-2014)                                                                                 Dear Friends,                                                                                                  Warm MDRT Greetings!   I introduce myself as the Zone Chair (South Asia) of MDRT's Membership Communications Committee (MCC) for 2013-2014. I have been a financial services professional since 12 years and a member of the MDRT since 2002. The MCC is a network of MDRT members that is tasked with promoting MDRT membership around the world. My role this year is to oversee MCC activities for South Asia which consists of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. MDRT is the Premier Association of Financial Professionals and was founded in 1927. It is a global, independent association of more than 38,000 life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 450 companies in 74 countries. MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service. MDRT membership is recognized worldwide as the hallmark of excellence in the financial services business. It has especially been a positive influence on the life insurance industry in having developed a rich tradition of sharing knowledge for the benefit of current members, aspirants and insurance companies. Within India, the MCC Team comprises of 32 dedicated MDRTians. My team and I would like to extend our assistance in every way we can, to help financial advisors as yourself reach, maintain and exceed MDRT, COT and TOT production levels. It will be our endeavor to spread awareness of the values and benefits of MDRT membership. For each one on our committee, MDRT has been a consistent guiding factor in our careers and has been instrumental in our successful journey thus far. Personally, besides increasing my production levels year on year, MDRT has nurtured me into becoming a whole person, enabled me understand the nobility of this profession, empowered me to connect and change the lives of my client families like never before and, most importantly,form long-lasting friendships with like-minded professionals, that have been a constant source of motivation.
