I wish to ask if MDAnalysis or any related body organizes workshops to teach new users how one can perfectly use the software. Also, information on perfecting python programming skills for beginners will be appreciated. Books or tutorials that may help in python studies will be appreciated.
Thanks as I anticipate your response.

We held our last workshop a few months ago and the materials are available online at https://github.com/MDAnalysis/WorkshopPrace2021

We are planning more workshops for the future but we don’t have any dates yet.

Also, information on perfecting python programming skills for beginners will be appreciated. Books or tutorials that may help in python studies will be appreciated.

I collected some resources for a class that I am teaching at https://github.com/ASU-CompMethodsPhysics-PHY494/PHY494-resources/wiki/Python-tutorials ; however, I am sure that there are many, many more resources and people will hopefully tell you what their favorites are.

(I am also teaching an online intro to Python class at ASU https://becksteinlab.physics.asu.edu/learning/128/phy202-programming-for-physicists and supposedly one can take it as an external “non-degree seeking" student but I don’t know how much ASU will charge you for it.)

Best,
Oliver
