Issues: The outer shell of the spinning magnet is in three sections. One of those sections is broken and the sheet metal cover is sprung out. The drum does rotate but that broken part does not because of the damage.

36" BLANCHARD GRINDER

Test run when it came in, runs fine, spindle and transmission are quiet. Head elevation motor was broken across mount base on both sides. Is welded together but not operational. Limit switch problem on head up and down, will some times go in same direction
no matter if you select up or down. Something wrong in head elevation system you can hear and feel it grinding and catching while moving head up and down, that is probably what broke motor base to start with, needs to be looked at.

Only shears 1/4 material. We installed a new hyd pump $3400.+, replaced both cylinder seals, all hold down seals, other hyd valves and seals,repaired other mechaincal issues. Still won't cut more than 1/4" mild steel !?

Issues: Repaired minor issues and test run. Air pressure regulator leaks will need replaced. Punch cylinder is scarred and leaks a good bit. Functional but leaks oil from main cylinder.
Heck, the 28XX tooling is worth the price!
