Below are information of 5 years scholarship for the young Cambodian who are 13-15 years old and the 2 years scholarship to young Cambodian (16-19 years old) who want to study in international school in Singapore and Other schools in different country of United World College.
So please kindly circulate this information to those who are parents, relatives, NGOs, who has/ know the children who has potential or talent that want to continue study in Singapore or other country of UWC. ( the poor children are strongly encouraged to apply this scholarship).

UWC South East Asia (UWCSEA) is a member of the United World College (UWC) movement and is situated in Singapore. UWCSEA has nearly 4,500 students from 67 nationalities on two campuses and educates students from Kindergarten 1 to Grade 12. It is one of the world’s largest and most successful International Baccalaureate Diploma schools and for 25 years has achieved superb exam results. The College is now able to offer two scholarships for a maximum of five years for two Cambodian nationals of outstanding personal and academic potential. Please note that in order to maintain a diverse and balanced community in our Boarding House on East Campus, this year applications are open to female candidates only.
The successful candidates will have been born on a date between 31st July 1999 and 1st August 1997.Please note that applications from students who are older or younger than this ages WILL NOT be accepted.
The successful candidates:
- Must have very good written and spoken English skills;
- Must have an excellent academic record in Mathematics & Khmer;
- Should be able to demonstrate additional academic excellence in another field: IT, science, languages or humanities;
- Should be able to demonstrate strong extracurricular activities: e.g. creativity, community service, sport.
The College will meet all educational and accommodation fees, meals, travel expenses to and from Cambodia and a small living allowance for the successful candidates.
Written examinations in English and Mathematics will be held on mid-February 2012 at examination centres in Phnom Penh and Pursat. For the 20 most successful candidates, there will be further examinations in English, Khmer and Mathematics as well as interviews in English in Phnom Penh on Saturday mid-March 2012.
Successful candidates will join the college in August 2012.

Education Scholarship Opportunity ( 2 year-scholarship)
The United World Colleges (UWC) offers an International Baccalaureate education to students between the ages of 16 and 19. Selected students will study at one of three of 13 Colleges around the world where a high emphasis is placed on international understanding and the sharing of cultures.
The UWC movement is now offering 100% for 2 full-time two-year scholarships at Atlantic UWC in England and Li Po Chun UWC in Hong Kong. An additional partial scholarship from UWC in Costa Rica, offered from 50 to 100%, to the young Cambodian nationals of outstanding personal and academic potential.
All candidates were born between 01/August /1993 and 01 / August /1996, studying at grade 11 or 12 in the school year 2011-2012. Please note that older or younger applicants will be automatically excluded.
The successful candidates:
- Must have very good written and spoken English skills;
- Must have an excellent academic record particularly in Mathematics and Khmer;
- Should be able to demonstrate relevant extracurricular activities and be of strong moral character
Written examinations in English and Mathematics will be held on Sunday, 12th February 2012 at examination centers in Phnom Penh and Pursat province. For the 18 successful candidates there will be further examinations in English, Khmer and Mathematics, as well as interviews in English and Khmer, in Phnom Penh on 17th and 18th Mar 2012.
